About Partida Cristalino Añejo Tequila
Building upon Partida Añejo, Partida Cristalino Añejo Tequila showcases the clarity of a diamond. Aged for 18 months in ex-bourbon barrels, this 100% blue Weber agave tequila undergoes natural charcoal filtering, which removes all color, leaving the rich flavors intact. A true Cristalino, it greets with bright aromas of vanilla, honeysuckle, and fig on the nose, while quince, cacao, cinnamon, and coffee prevail on the palate. Expect a long-lasting and lingering dry finish. Savor slowly.
Jose Valdez, Tequila Partida’s master distiller, holds a Tequila Expert degree from Cultura y Capacitación del Tequila A.C. (Tequila Culture and Training Association) and is also a certified Tequila Technician from the Consejo Regulador del Tequila (Tequila Regulatory Council). He carefully monitors the entire production process, including the quality of the blue agave. The piñas are perfectly ripened with mature, robust sugars, the blue agave is harvested by hand and slowly baked in state-of-the-art autoclaves to preserve freshness and flavor. After the agave has been baked and shredded, Valdez lets the agave juices ferment for nearly two days before twice distilling the tequila.
