About Cirka
Co-founded in 2014 by Master Distiller Paul Cirka, Circa Distilleries’ goal is to craft Canadian whisky. As is often the case with younger craft distilleries, Cirka has been making several clear spirits while waiting for the whisky to mature. The artisanal distillery is located in Montreal, where they employ sustainable practices, relying on local suppliers. This means that local grains, botanicals, and pure water are used in the production process.
Cirka is the first grain-to-bottle distillery in Quebec as well as one of the first of its kind in Canada. Their whisky has seen 3 small-batch releases thus far: the Premier Whisky, Whisky No2, and Whisky No3. The clear spirits include the Gin Sauvage, Gin375 Digestif, and Gin Navy Strength, along with Vodka Terroir and Chili Vodka. These expressions have garnered several of the most prestigious international awards since the company’s inception in 2014.
